Mountainpack takes place in the Rocky Mountains. The terrain is mainly made up of a mixture of grey and brown rocks, pines and snow farther up.
There is no pack "camp" or "den" except when there is a litter. The pack will then stay at a den site til the offspring are old enough to travel to a the summer renovation site (Juvenile age). During this period they may travel to new sites where food is but always stay within their boundaries.
Once the offspring reach sexual maturity or their are no new litters the they may travel to a new site or stay on the move.
